This Privacy Policy applies when you use a website, or other online service (social media platform, email newsletters) (collectively, the “Services”) that links or refers to it.
1. Types of information we process and where it comes fromWe may collect personal information about our users in various ways. For example, we may collect information that you provide to us and information that we collect through your use of the Services.
Information You Provide to Us. When you subscribe or otherwise interact with the Services, you are invited to provide personal information to the Services. For example:
- Сontact information such as your name, e-mail address, alternative contacts;
- Additional information as language and liturgical calendar you use.

Third Parties that Provide Content, Advertising, or Functionality. When you use our Services, third parties may collect or receive certain information about you and/or your use of the Services (e.g., hashed data, click stream information, browser type, time and date, information about your interactions with advertisements and other content), including through the use of cookies, beacons, and similar technologies, in order to provide content, advertising, or functionality or to measure and analyze ad performance, on our Services or other websites or platforms. This information may be combined with information collected across different websites, online services, and other linked or associated devices. These third parties may use your information to improve their own services and consistent with their own privacy policies.
4. How to Access or Update Your Information & Other Privacy Choices Available To YouManage Your Subscription. You may access or modify your Skynia’s subscription by sending a request to our email address skinia.ua@gmail.com. If you no longer want to be included into our newsletter, please unsubscribe from it or contact us to update or delete your data.
Email Promotions. You may opt out of receiving commercial email messages from us by following the instructions contained in those email messages.
Other Choices. The local laws where you live (e.g., laws of the E.U. and California) may permit you to make certain requests.
5. How long do we keep your data for?In general, we keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose for which it was collected.
6. How We Use Cookies, Web Beacons, and Similar Technologies and How To Disable These TechnologiesWe, our service providers, and third parties that provide content, advertising, or functionality or measure and analyze performance on our Services, may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to facilitate administration and navigation on the Site, to better understand and improve our Services, to determine and/or improve the advertising shown to you here or elsewhere, and to provide you with a customized online experience.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. We and our third-party partners may use various technologies to automatically collect and store certain device and usage information (as discussed above) when you interact with Service and this may include using cookies and similar tracking technologies. For example, when you receive and engage with our newsletter, web beacons track certain behavior such as whether the email was delivered and opened and whether links within the email were clicked. Both web beacons and SDKs allow our third parties to collect information such as your IP address, browser, email client type, and other similar data as further described above. This information is used to measure the performance of our newsletter, and to provide analytics information and enhance the effectiveness of our Service, and for the other purposes described above.

- provide you with information about the financial incentives that we offer to you if any.
Please note that certain information may be exempt from such requests under applicable law. For example, we may retain certain information for legal compliance and to secure our Services. We may need certain information in order to provide the Services to you; if you ask us to delete it, you may no longer be able to use the Services.
The CCPA further provides you with the right to not be discriminated against (as provided for in applicable law) for exercising your rights under the CCPA.

Shine the Light Disclosure. California residents are entitled once a year, free of charge, to request and obtain certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
8. Information for Certain Users Outside the United StatesInternational Transfers. The Services are headquartered in Ukraine. Please be aware that the information you provide to us or that we obtain as a result of your use of the Services may be collected in your country and subsequently transferred to Ukraine or to another country in accordance with applicable law. By using the Services, you consent to the collection, international transfer, storage, and processing of your information.
Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and SwitzerlandIf you are a user in the EEA or Switzerland, the following information applies with respect to personal data collected through your use of our Services. Under applicable law, Skynia Magazine is considered the “data controller” of the personal information we handle under this Policy. In other words, Skynia Magazine is responsible for deciding how to collect, use, and disclose this information, subject to applicable law. Our contact information appears at the end of this Policy.
Purposes of processing and legal basis for processing. We process personal data consistent with our disclosures in this Privacy Policy. We process personal data on the following legal bases: (1) with your consent; (2) as necessary to perform our agreement to provide Services to you; and (3) as necessary for our legitimate interests in providing the Services where those interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms related to data privacy.
Transfers. Personal data we collect may be transferred to, and stored and processed in, Ukraine or any other country in which we or our affiliates or processors maintain facilities. We will ensure that transfers of personal data to a third country or an international organization are subject to appropriate safeguards.
Individual Rights. If you are a resident of the EEA or Switzerland, you have certain rights under Chapter 3 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. 9. What are your rights under EU General Data Protection Law?The law gives you certain rights in respect of the information that we hold about you. Below is a short overview of those rights.

- Your right to withdraw your consent. If we are processing your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.

We may make a reasonable charge for additional copies of that data beyond the first copy, based on our administrative costs.
- Your right to have inaccurate information about you rectified. You have the right to have the information we hold about you corrected if it is factually inaccurate.
- Your right to object to what we do with your data, and to have restrictions placed upon it. Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, you have the right to object to that processing and to have restrictions placed upon it while we consider your objection.
- Your right to have your information erased in some circumstances. You have the right to require us to delete the information that we hold about you if it is no longer necessary for the purpose we collected it for, and there is no other legal basis on which we must, or are allowed to, retain it.
- Your right to stop receiving direct marketing from us. You have the right to require us to stop sending you direct marketing material (for example, promotional emails). It can sometimes take a few days to action these requests.
10. Changes to Our Privacy PolicyWe may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting changes here, or by other appropriate means. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will become effective when the updated policy is posted on the Services. Your use of the Services or your provision of personal information to use the Services following such changes indicates your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
